AP EAMCET 2025 (EAPCET): Exam Dates, Application Form, Eligibility, Pattern

What is AP EAMCET

AP EAMCET (Andhra Pradesh Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test) has been renamed as AP EAPCET ( Andhra Pradesh Engineering Agriculture and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test). It is a state-level entrance exam conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Kakinada on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE). This entrance examination served as a gateway for admission into various undergraduate courses in engineering, agriculture and pharmacy offered by colleges and Universities in Andhra Pradesh.

AP EAMCET 2025 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria are set by JNTU Kakinada. To be eligible for AP EAMCET exam candidate must be passed or equivalent of 10 + 2 exam with mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects. AP EAPCET 2025 Eligibility Criteria: Nationality and Domicile

• Applicants should be Indian Nationals or Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) card holders are eligible.
• Applicants should belong to the Andhra Pradesh / Telangana and meet the domicile requirements as laid down by the Andhra Pradesh / Telangana Educational Institutions.

Age Criteria:

• For Engineering and Pharmacy courses, candidates should have completed 16 years of age as of 31st December of the year of admission. There is no upper age limit.
• For B.Tech. (Dairy Technology), B.Tech. (Agricultural Engineering), B.Tech. (Food Science and Technology), and B.Sc. (Agriculture Engineering), candidates should have completed 17 years of age as of 31st December of the year of admission and an upper age limit of 22 years for all candidates (25 years for SC/ST candidates).

Educational Qualification:

• Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of 10+2 Examination with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as optional subjects, or related vocational courses in the fields of Engineering and Technology, conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh/Telangana.
• Additionally, any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh / Telangana.
• Candidates who have appeared for the final year (10 + 2 pattern) and is awaiting there results may also apply for AP EAMCET 2024.

Marks Required

• Candidate must score at least 45% marks in the qualifying examination for most courses through APEAMCET.
• Reserve category candidates must score 40% marks in the subject specified in their stream.
