What is SUPER TET Exam 2026?

The SUPET TET full form is the Super Teacher Eligibility Test. It is a state-level teacher recruitment/eligibility exam conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB). It is a final selection exam for the post of Assistant teacher (primary and upper primary) and principal/headmaster in UP Government and government-aided schools. SUPER TET 2026 Eligibility Criteria

SUPER TET Education Qualification

For Primary Teacher

• Class 12th pass with at least 50% marks and passed 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education OR
• Class 12th pass with at least 50% marks and possess 4 years’ Bachelors of Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed) Degree OR
• Must have passed Class 12th with at least 50% marks and have also passed in the final year of 2 years Diploma in Education (Special Education) OR
• Graduation Degree and passed a 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education OR
• Graduation Degree and Bachelor’s in Education (B.Ed) Degree

For Junior Teacher

• Bachelor’s degree and BTC from National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).
• Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks and B.Ed / B.Ed Special Education from Rehabilitation Council Of India (RCI).
• 12th pass with at least 50% marks and 4 years in B.A/ B.Sc.Ed/ B.A.Ed from N.C.T.E and UGC with the recognized institute.
• 12th pass with at least 50% marks and 4 years in B.El.Ed in Primary Education.
• Bachelor’s degree with at least 45% marks and a B.Ed degree.

SUPET Age Limit 2026

The minimum age limit to apply for super teacher eligibility test is 21 years and the maximum age limit is 40 years. Age relaxation is given as per government norms.

SUPER TET 2026 Application Form

The SUPER TET application form 2026 is soon be available on the official website by Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB). Candidates can fill out the online application form at updeled.gov.in.
