AFCAT Eligibility 2026

AFCAT Education qualification
1. AFCAT education qualification for flying branch:
- Candidate who wants to apply for flying branch must have completed class 12 with minimum 50% marks in mathematics and physics. OR
- Candidate must completed graduation with minimum 3 year degree course in any stream with minimum 60% marks from recognised University. OR
- They should completed BE/BTech degree with minimum 60% marks from recognise University. OR
- Those candidate who have clear section a and B exam of associate membership of Institution of Engineering or Aeronautical Society of India with a minimum of 60% marks are equivalent from recognize University and eligible to apply for AFCAT 1 2026.
2. AFCAT eligibility criteria for ground duty (technical) branch:
The candidate must have an Aeronautical Engineering (electronics)(AE(L)) with a minimum 60% marks in Physics and Mathematics at 10 + 2 level and a graduation or post graduation in field of Engineering and Technology from recognised University.
AFCAT Age Limit
- Branch through AFCAT and NCC special entry- the candidates age limit is 20 years to 24 years.
- Ground duty (technical/non-technical) branches- 20 to 26 years.
