Candidate who want to apply for CSIR NET 2024 December must meet the CSIR NET eligibility criteria 2024. The applicants must have a masters degree or an equivalent postgraduate diploma in the relevant field from recognise university or Institute. CSIR NET Education Qualification
- For JRF (Junior Research Fellowship): The applicants possess an MSc or equivalent degree/integrated BS-MS/ BS-4 years/B.E./B.Tech/B Pharma/MBBS with at least 55% marks. (Relaxation will be provided for 5% marks in the reserves category. This category needs at least 50% marks in their qualifying degree.)
- For Lectureship/Assistant Professor: The candidate must have the same qualification required for JRF.
- Applicants who are in the final year of their qualifying degree can also apply, but they must complete the degree with the required percentage of marks within 2 years of receiving the fellowship award letter.
- Candidates who have a PhD degree with at least 50% marks in the master’s degree are also eligible to apply for lectureship/assistant professor for CSIR NET 2024 December.

- For JRF : The maximum age limit is 28 years.

- Up to 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/PwD/female candidate.
