The Central Board of Secondary Education has released the CTET February 2026 on 27 November 2026 on the official website. The CTET 2026 application form has started from 27 November 2025. The last date of CBSE CTET 2026 is 18 December 2025. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online for CTET 2026 through the official website at ctet.nic.in. CBSE wil conduct CTET exam 2026 will be conducted offline on 8 February 2026 in two shifts for Paper 1 and Paper 2.
The CTET February is a great opportunity for candidates who want to become teachers in Central Government Schools, such as KVS and NVS. Candidate who completed class 12th with at least 50% marks and D.EI.ED are eligible to apply for CTET notification 2026. CTET 2026 Eligibility Criteria

- For paper 1 (class 1 to 5 primary stage)-
- The candidate must be 12th pass with minimum of 50% /45% marks with 2-year diploma in elementary education (D.EI.Ed) OR 4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education OR
- Bachelor’s Degree with a B.Ed degree
- For paper 2 (class 6 to 8 elementary stage)-
- The applicant must be graduate with 50 or 40% marks with 2 years diploma in elementary education. OR
- Graduation with B.Ed or Bachelor’s of Elementary Education. OR
- Candidate must have passed class 12th with 50% marks and clear or appearing in the final year of exam of B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed or B.A/B.Sc.Ed.

CTET 2026 Selection Process
The selection process of CTET 2026 is based on the score obtained by candidates in CTET exam. Two qualified CTET exam candidate needs to obtain more or equal to 60% marks. The CTET exam is an eligibility test, which means candidates who qualify the exam does not guarantee a job to the candidates. The CTET exam will be conducted in two phases paper 1 and paper 2.
