The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2025 will be conducted between 8 May and 1 June 2025 in computer-based test (CBT) mode. The CET notification 2025 has been released on 1 March 2025. As per the latest announcement by NTA CUET 2025 UG has Exam pattern has changed. Now CUET will be conducted for 37 subjects (13 languages, 23 CUET domain subjects and a general test). Candidates can choose up to 5 subjects only.
CUET 2025 Latest Changes
The UGC chairman has made changes in the CUET UG exam. The changes have been listed below.
- Students can choose any subject in CUET UG exam, regardless of their class 12th subject.
- Candidates can choose only 5 domain subjects.
- The CUET UG exam will be held in computer-based test (CBT) mode instead of hybrid mode.
- The CUET UG subjects has been reduced from 63 to 37. The removed subjects include entrepreneurship, teaching aptitude, fashion studies, two reason, legal studies and engineering graphics.
- Each CUET subject exam will last 60 minutes.
- The CUET admission for discontinued subjects will be based on general aptitude test score.
- No optional question will be given in CUET exam.
