IBPS PO Prelims Exam Pattern 2024
As per the IBPS PO Prelims exam pattern, the examination is conducted online. The IBPS PO prelims have three sections namely, English language, numerical ability and reasoning ability. The question paper include a total of 100 questions and the candidate needs to complete the test in 1 hours. The Prelims exam have sectional time limit of 20 minutes for each section. The negative marking in IBPS PO prelims exam is 0.25 marks will deducted for each wrong answer attempted by candidate. IBPS PO Mains Exam Pattern 2024
The IBPS PO mains exam pattern has introduced a descriptive paper in it means exam, like SBI PO. With the descriptive test candidate are judged on their written skills by essay and letter writing. The essay and letter writing will be conducted for 25 marks for the duration of 30 minutes. Also the all over time allocated for each and as also will changed. And there will be low separate paper for computer application and reasoning. Now they are teamed up with the computer aptitude section.
The IBPS PO mains exam pattern consists of 4 sections: reasoning & computer aptitude, English language, Data analysis and interpretation, General, and Economy/Banking awareness. And a descriptive test. The exam is conducted for a total of 225 marks (200 marks for online exams and 25 marks for the written exam. IBPS PO Interview Process 2024
Those candidates who qualify IBPS PO mains exam are shortlisted for interview process by IBPS. The interview will be conducted for a total of 100 marks and the minimum marks to qualify interview round will be 40%. And for candidate belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PWD the qualifying marks will be 35%.
Penalty for Wrong Answers
The IBPS has set the negative marking of 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer attempted by the candidate in both IBPS PO prelims and IBPS PO main exam. Additionally, there will be no deduction of marks for unattempted questions by candidates.
Final Selection
The final selection will be done by taking consideration the commutative score of mains exam and interview process. The weightage of the mains and interview will be in the ratio of 80:20. After completing the interview process a merit list will be generated of IBPS PO 2024 exam. Those candidate whose name will be in the list thus offered the joining letter by bank of their choice.
