The candidate needs to clear the cutoff of each section. The team of IBPS will decide the cutoff of each section according to the level of difficulty of the paper. Candidates need to complete the exam in a composite time of 45 minutes. There is a negative marking of 1/4th marks for every wrong answer attempted by the candidate.

IBPS RRB PO Mains Exam Pattern (Officer Scale-I) 

The IBPS RRB exam for officer scale- 1 covers five sections namely: reasoning, quantitative aptitude & data interpretation, financial awareness, computer knowledge, English/Hindi language. The time duration given to complete this paper is 2 hours. There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every in correct answer. All the section will be by lingual except Hindi and English.

All the exams will be held through online mode and will be of objective type.All sections (except the English Language section & Hindi Language section) will be bilingual (i.e. will be asked in both English & Hindi). There will be both sectional as well as overall cut-offs in IBPS RRB 2024 Officer Scale-I (PO) exam. 1/4th mark will be deducted for every answer attempted wrong by a candidate in the IBPS RRB 2024 Exam.
