What is NIFT 2024
NIFT stands for the National Institute of Fashion Technology. NIFT 2024 Entrance Exam Eligibility Criteria
Individuals before applying to the NIFT 2024 entrance exam ensure to check and meet the eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria include age limit and education qualification. Here the course-wise eligibility criteria are provided below.
B.Des
B.Des is a undergraduate program. It is a full time 4 year course. The course fee ranging between 2 lakh to 12 lakh.
- Education qualification –
- Candidate must be qualify for 10 + 2 examinations with 50% marks in any recognised University or Institute.
- Students passed the class 12th exam conducted by National Open School with a minimum of 5 subjects.
- The student having a three or four-year diploma recognised by AICTE or State Board of Technical Education.
- Candidate passed any Public School/Board/foreign countries recognised by the association of Indian University as equivalent to a 10 + 2 system.
- Student holding general certificate education (GCE) examination (London/Cambridge/Sri Lanka) at the advanced (A) level/International Baccalaureate.
- Age limit –
- The candidate should be less than 24 years as of 1st August of the 2024.
- The students belonging to SC ST and PWD categories have been given the 5-year age relaxation in the upper age limit.
B.F. Tech
B.F. Tech is the undergraduate program. The duration of this course is 4 years each year is divided into two semester. B.F. Tech course can be completed at a few ranging between 3 lakh to 4 lakh.
- Education qualification –
- Student must pass the class 12th examination with physics chemistry and mathematics in any recognised Institute.
- Students qualified class 10 + 2 examination conducted by National Open School with a minimum of 5 subject.
- Also any Public School/Board/University examination in India or in foreign country recognised by the association of Indian University as equivalent to the 10 + 2 system.
- Candidate having general certificate education (GCE) examination (London/Cambridge/Sri Lanka) at the advanced (A) level/International Baccalaureate.
- Age limit:
- The maximum age limit should be less than 24 years as of first August 2024.
- Is relaxation for SC ST PWD is relaxed by 5 years.
