RBI Grade B Exam Pattern 2024 For DR (General)
Aspiring candidates who want to be selected for the post of DR (General) must be aware of the RBI grade B exam pattern for RBI grade B prelims and Mains examination. Candidates can look for the details exam pattern mentioned below.
- The RRI grade B preliminary exam is conducted through online mode. As per the RBI grade B exam pattern, the Prelims exam has four sections: General awareness, Quantitative aptitude, English language and Reasoning.
- The RBI grade B Prelims exam is conducted for a total of 200 marks for the time duration of 120 minutes. There is a sectional time duration for each section. General awareness, quantitative aptitude and English language have a time duration of 25 minutes. While reasoning is conducted for 45 minutes.
- There is a negative marking in the RBI grade B exam of 1/4th for each incorrect answer.

RBI Grade B Phase 2 Exam Pattern for DR (General)
- Candidates who qualified RBI grade B Prelims exam have to undergo RBI grade B Phase 2. The RBI Grade B Phase 2 is Descriptive in nature the question will be asked in both Hindi and English language except English paper.
- Phase 2 consist of 3 papers: Paper 1, Paper 2 and Paper 3, candidates needs to appear in all sections. The RBI grade B Phase 2 conducted for a total of 300 marks.
- Paper 1 and paper 3 is a combination of both objective and descriptive questions. One section comprises MCQ questions and the other is descriptive type questions ( that descriptive question will be typed through the keyboard).
- The objective part of paper 1 consist of 30 questions of 50 marks. While the descriptive part has 6 questions out of which the candidate needs to attempt only 4 questions of 15 marks.
The admission letter for each shift will be issued separately. This is to inform you that the phase 2 examination will be conducted in Shifts, so the candidate needs to appear for all shifts. Candidate looks for detailed RBI grade B exam pattern for DR.

- In Descriptive questions, RBI provide 6 questions out of which the candidate needs to attempt only 4 questions. ( In which 2 questions will be of 15 marks (with difficulty level) and 2 questions of 10 marks.
- In case candidate attempted more than 4 questions in descriptive than the first 4 answers will be evaluated.

RBI Grade B Exam Pattern 2024 for DEPR
- As per the RBI grade B exam pattern for DEPR RBI grade B examination will be conducted through online/written examination and interview.
- The question papers will be consist of three Papers: Paper 1 (objective type in Economy), and Paper 2 and Paper 3 will be descriptive type in English.
- The RBI grade B exam for DEPR will be conducted for a total of 400 marks.
- Those candidates who score minimum marks in paper I will be shortlisted for paper II/Paper III exam will be based on marks obtained in paper I.
- As per the RBI the final selection will be done on the basis of performance in paper I,II, and III and interview. The interview will be conducted for 75 marks.

RBI Grade B Interview
Candidates who qualified in Phase II (Paper I + Paper II + Paper III) are only shortlisted for interview. The Reserve Bank of India will conduct an RBI grade B interview for each post of 75 marks. The minimum aggregate cut-off for interviews will decided by board on the basis of the number of Vacancies. RBI released the wrong number of candidate shortlisted for interview on the official website. Also the interview call letter will be sent on the candidates register email ID.
RBI Provide an option for candidates to select the medium of interview in Hindi or English. Candidate must know that the final merit list will be prepared on the basis of mass by candidate in mains exam (Phase 2) and interview.
