SSC CGL Exam Pattern 2024
The Staff Selection Commission will release the SSC CGL exam pattern 2024 along with the SSC notification 2024. SSC has revised the SSC CGL exam pattern now SSC CGL exam will be conducted in two Tiers: Tire 1 and Tire 2. The SSC CGL Tier 1 is qualifying exam and is compulsory for all candidates. SSC CGL Tier 2 has three papers: paper 1, Paper 2, and Paper 3. Candidates for SSC CGL 2024 must understand the SSC CGL exam pattern to prepare well for the upcoming examination.
The SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam and Tire 2 is conducted in computer-based online mode with objective-type MCQ questions. The SSC CGL Tier 2 is having three papers, in which paper I is compulsory for all post while paper II is for applicants applied for the post of junior Statistical Officer (JSO) in the Ministry of Statistics and Program Implementation. Paper III is for the applicant who applied for the assistant audit officer/assistant account officer post.
This is to inform you that SSC CGL Tier 1 is a qualifying paper. Those candidates who qualify for Tier 1 will proceed to SSC CGL Tier 2. Tire 2 is scoring in nature, the final selection will be done on the basis of SSC CGL Tier 2 score.
SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam Pattern 2024
As per the staff selection commission, SSC CGL tire 1 exam will be conducted online mode. The SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam pattern comprises of 4 sections with 100 Multiple choice questions (MCQs). The questions will be asked from the following sections: General Intelligence & reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative aptitude, and English Comprehension. The SSC CGL Tier 1 is conducted for a total of 200 marks for the duration of 60 minutes.CGL Tier 1 is the qualifying paper and the marks is not added in the final selection.
