SSC CHSL Exam Pattern Tier 1

As per the staff selection commission, the SSC CHSL Tier 1 includes the sections namely, General Intelligence/Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative aptitude, and English language. The SSC CHSL Tier 1 Exam is conducted through an online Computer-based test. The question paper includes a total of 100 marks i.e. Each section consists of 25 marks. The maximum mark of SSC CHSL Tier 1 is 200. 200 candidates need to complete the exam within the time of 60 minutes. The candidate will be awarded two months for each correct answer. And for each wrong answer, 1/2 will be deducted.

The SSC CHSL Tier 2 consists of 3 sections having two modules each.

  • Section 1:

    • Module 2 – general awareness
  • Section 3:
    • Module 1 – Computer knowledge test
    • module 2 – skill test/typing test.
  • As per the latest exam pattern, The SSC CHSL Tier 2 has two Sessions: Session 1 and Session 2. Both Session 1 and Session 2 will be conducted in same day.
  • Session 1 includes section 1, section 2, Module 1 of section 3.
  • Session 2 includes module to of section 3.
  • In SSC CHSL Tier 2 candidates will be awarded three marks for each correct answer.
