SSC Age limit for JE
The Maximum age limit for all posts of SSC JE is 30 and the Maximum age is 32 Years for CPWD & CWC Post Only Candidates who meet all the Eligibility criteria for the Junior Engineer can fill up the Application form.
For the posts for which the age limit is up to 30 years- The Applicant must have been born not earlier than 02-08-1993 and not later than 01-08-2005.

SSC JE Exam Pattern 2024
The SSC JE exam consists of two papers conducting online Computer Based tests (CBT). The JE paper 1 for SSC has three sections: general knowledge, general awareness and general engineering. Paper 1 is conducted for 200 Marks. The SSC JE paper 2 is a Computer-based test and will have only technical subjects for 300 marks. Both paper 1 and Paper 2 is conducted for 2 hours. The negative marking is 0.25 marks in paper 1 and for paper 2 is 1 marks in SSC JE.
