The Directorate of School Education, Government of Telangana has released a new TS DSC notification 2024 on 29 February 2024. The authority has announced to filling of 11062 vacancies for the posts of SAs, SGTs, LPs, PETs and special education teachers in the primary level and special education teachers in the upper primary/ secondary level. The TS DSC application form is available at www.schooledu.telangana.gov.in. TS DSC online application form will begin on 4 March 2024. Candidates can apply online till the second April 2024.

TS DSC Eligibility Criteria 2024
To be eligible for DSC TRT candidate must meet some eligibility criteria set by the Directorate of the School Education, Government of Telangana. It is necessary that the candidate must be an Indian citizen and also be a domicile of Telangana. The candidate between the age group of 18 to 46 years can apply for the Telangana State District Selection Committee. Candidate can check the minimum education qualification for Secondary Grade Teacher (SGT), School Assistant (SA), Language Pandit (LP), Physical Education Teacher and Special Education Teachers below.
School Assistant (SA)
Candidates Must hold a Graduate / Post Graduate Degree in Mathematics/ Physical Science/Biological Science/ Social Studies/ English/ Telugu/ Hindi/ Urdu/ Kannada/ Tamil/ Marathi/ Sanskrit/ Physical Education (or its allied subjects as given in the Annexure to this G.O.) from a University recognised by UGC with 50% marks in either Graduation or Post Graduation (In case of SC / ST / BC / Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) and Pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) / Special Education in B.Ed. course with Mathematics as a Methodology subject from any institution recognized by NCTE.
Language Pandit (LP)
Applicants should graduate with Telugu / Hindi / Urdu / Kannada / Oriya / Tamil / Sanskrit as one of the Optional / Graduation in Literature in Telugu / Bachelor’s Degree in Oriental Language (BOL) in Telugu / Post Graduation Degree in Telugu from a University recognised by UGC with at least 50% (In case of SC / ST / BC / Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) and Pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) / Special Education in B.Ed course with Telugu as a Methodology subject or Language Pandit Training in Telugu from any institution recognised by NCTE.
Physical Education Teacher
They must have passed Intermediate (or its equivalent) recognised by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana with a minimum of 50% marks and a certificate / Graduate Diploma in Physical Education / Diploma in Physical Education from an institution recognised by the NCTE.
Secondary Grade Teacher
Candidate Possess Intermediate / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) as recognized by the Board of Intermediate, Telangana with at least 50% Marks (In case of SC / ST / BC / Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%), and Pass in 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education / Special Education in D.Ed / 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education.

TS DSC Age Limit
As per the Directorate of School Education, Government of Telangana, the minimum age limit is not less than 18 year and the maximum age limit to apply for TS DSC is not more than 46 years. Age relaxation will be given on the basis of government rule.

TS DSC 2024 Selection Process
The selection process of TS DSC includes the posts of school grade teachers (SGT), school assistants, language Pandit, and physical education teachers post.
