The Department of School Education, Telangana has released the TS TET notification 2025 on the official website. The Telangana State Teaching Eligibility Test (TSTET) is conducted to determine the eligibility of candidate for primary classes (1 to 5th class) and upper primary classes (6 to 8th class). Candidates can apply for TS TET application form 2025 from 15 April 2025. The last date to fill out TSTET 2025 is 30 April 2025.

What is TS TET 2025?

Every year the (TS TET) is conducted by the Department of School Education, Telengana to determine the eligibility of candidates for teaching job for class 1 to 8 in government and private schools in Telangana.

The TSTET exam is conducted online in two levels – paper 1 and Paper 2. The TS TET paper 1 is conducted for primary teachers who want to teach classes 1 to 5 and TSTET is for those who want to take class 6 to 8. And for those who wants teach class 1 to 8 have to appear for both paper 1 and Paper 2.

TSTET 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Interested candidate who wants to apply for the Telangana Teaching State Eligibility Test must meet the TSTET eligibility criteria 2025. The eligibility includes candidate education qualification and age limit. Candidate must know that TSTET 2025 eligibility criteria for paper 1 and Paper 2 is different.

TSTET Eligibility Criteria for Paper 1 (Classes 1 to 5)

Candidate applying for paper 1 must meet any of the following TSTET eligibility criteria:

• Candidate must 12 pass with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/OBC/differently abled candidate) and pass into year diploma in Elimentary Education or 4 year Bachelors of Elimentary Education (BEIEd) or 2 year diploma in education (special education). OR
• Senior Secondary with at least 45% marks (40% for ST/SC/OBC/differently abled candidate) and past into year diploma in elementary education or 4 year Bachelors of elementary education (BEIEd) or 2 year diploma in education (special education) in case of the candidate who have passed or admitted to DEIEd/DEd forces before the guidelines (23 December 2015) OR
• Candidate must hold graduation degree with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/OBC differently abled candidates) and pass in bachelor of education (B.Ed)/Bachelor of Education (special education).

TS TET Eligibility Criteria for Paper 2 (Classes 6 to 8)

Candidate wants teach class 6 to 8 must any of the following TS TET 2025 eligibility criteria.

• Candidate mass pass BA/BSc/BCom with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/OBC differently abled candidates) and pass in B.Ed/B.Ed special education.
• BA/BSc/B.Com with at least 50% marks (40% for SC/ST/OBC/differently abled candidate) and pass in B.Ed/B.Ed special education/in case of candidate who passed or admitted to B.Ed prior to the issue of guidelines (23 December 2025). OR
• 4 year BAEd/BScEd with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/ OBC/ differently abled candidate) OR
• Candidate wants to apply for language teacher, graduation with the language concerned as one of the optional subject or bachelor Oriental language or graduation in Literature or post graduation in concerned and language Pandit Training Certificate/B.Ed with language conserved as one of the methodologies. OR
• BE/BTech with at least 50% marks (45% for Reserve categories) and passed or appearing in B.Ed/B.Ed special education.

NOTE: there is no age limit to apply for TS TET 2025 and also there is no restriction on number of attempts.

How to Apply for TS TET 2025

Candidate wants to apply for TSTET 2025 can follow the steps given below.

• Visit the official website of TS TET at schooledu.telangana.gov.in/SCHOOLEDUCATION/.
• On the homepage click on application submission form.
• Afterwards, click on ‘Know your journal number’ link.
• Enter your mobile number, date of birth and select exam paper.
• Click on proceed to fill application.
• Enter all the required details.
• Click on previews button to review your details
• Click on submit
• You should save your payment ID. General number and other details
• Take a print out for future reference.

TS TET 2025 Hall Ticket

The TS TET hall ticket 2025 will be released on 9 June 2025 onwards on the official website. Candidate who applied for tears at 2025 can download there TS that hall ticket download 2025. The TSTET 2025 hall ticket is mandatory document, without it you will not able to enter in the examination hall.

TS TET 2025 Result

The TS TET result 2025 will be declare on the official website on 22 July 2025. Student can download there TSTET result by entering their login credential i.e. TSTET hall ticket number.

TSTET 2025 Certificate

Candidate who qualified TSTET 2025 are awarded with the TS TET eligibility certificate. The TSTET certificate will remain valid for lifetime.

TS TET Qualifying Marks

To qualify TS TET exam the general category candidate needs to obtain 60% which is 90 marks. And for Reserve category candidate the qualifying percentage is 55 and the qualifying marks is 82.
