The UPSC 2024 notification has been released by the Union Public Service Commission on 14 February 2024. The UPSC IAS exam 2024 will be conducted to fill 1056 positions for CSE (civil service examination) and Indian Foreign Service (IFS) the Union Public Service Commission. Candidates can apply for the UPSC exam from 14 February 2024. The UPSC application form is available online. Interested candidates can apply online for UPSC till 5 March 2024. Candidates can edit the UPSC 2024 application from 6 March to 12 March 2024. As per the UPSC, the UPSC 2024 Prelims exam will be conducted on 26 May 2024.

UPSC 2024 Exam Date

As per the UPSC calendar 2024 which is released in May 2023, the commission notified that all the notifications, applications and exam date of exam will be conducted in 2024. The UPSC 2024 Prelims exam will be scheduled to be conducted on 26 May 2024 through offline mode.

UPSC 2024 Vacancies

The Union Public Service Commission has announced a total of 1056 vacancies for IAS along with the release of UPSC 2024. 150 vacancies have been released for the Indian Foreign Service (IFS). UPSC 2024 Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for UPSC 2024 candidate must meet certain criteria said by Union Public Service Commission. The eligibility criteria of UPSC CSE is Candidate must be a bachelor’s degree from recognised university or equivalent. The age limit is between 21 to 32 years as per the UPSC. UPSC Education Qualification

The commission has announced the education qualification along with the notification that a candidate must be graduate from recognised University or institution. There is no minimum percentage in the qualifying exam for graduation in UPSC. It means any can be date who is graduate and wants to apply for UPSC can apply online.

UPSC Age Limit

The minimum age limit of life for UPSC is 21 years. The maximum age limit is 32 years. The Union Public Service Commission provide is relaxation to the Reserve category candidates.

UPSC Nationality

The candidates must be Indian Citizens. Other country candidates can also apply for UPSC. The nationality requirements for the UPSC exam is below:

• a subject of Nepal, or
• a subject of Bhutan, or
• a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before January 1, 1962, to permanently settle in India, or
• a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam intending to permanently settle in India.
