UPSC ESE 2024 Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Union Public Service Commission Engineering Service examination 2024 all candidates must meet the eligibility criteria which include education qualification, age limit and nationality. If a candidate does not mean anyone of the eligibility criteria then they are not eligible to fill the application form of UPSC ESE 2024.

Education qualification

• Candidate must have a degree in Engineering from any recognised university. OR
• Passed Sections A and B of the Institution Examinations of the Institution of Engineers (India); OR
• Candidate must obtain a degree/diploma in Engineering from such foreign University/College/Institution OR
• Passed Graduate Membership Examination of the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (India); OR
• Passed Associate Membership Examination Parts II and III/Sections A and B of the Aeronautical Society of India; OR
• Passed Graduate Membership Examination of the Institution of Electronics and Radio Engineers, London held after November, 1959.

Age limit

• Candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years (age on 1st January 2024)
• must have been born not earlier than 2nd January 1994 and not later than 1st January 2003
