West Bengal Scholarship 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Scholarships promote equal opportunities by providing assistance to students from various backgrounds, ensuring that talent is not limited by economic constraints. The eligibility criteria for West Bengal Scholarship 2023 are as follows:

• The candidate must be in the domicile of West Bengal are only able to fill out the application form.
• The school-level students must hold the unique ID of Bengal Shiksha.
• Candidates’ Annual family income must not increase by 2 Lakh for pre-matric, post-matric and TSP students.
• The student’s annual family income is less than Rs. 2.5 lakh for MCM and SVMCM.
• They have their own operative Bank account number.
• Only pre matric student can apply through their parents bank account.
• Student can apply for this scholarship from only one government source.

West Bengal Pre-Matric Scholarship

• Candidate must be the domicile of West Bengal.
• Students must be studying in classes 1 to 10 to be eligible for the scholarship.
• The annual income of their parents must not in exceed Rs 2 lakh per annum from all sources.

West Bengal Post Matric Scholarship

• The candidate should be the domicile of West Bengal.
• Also, students must be studying in classes 11, 12, graduation or post-graduation for a pre-matric scholarship.
• The family income for SC ST should not exceed 2 lakh to rupees 2.5 lakh per annum.
• For OBC students the family income should not increase than one lakh per annum.

WB Merit Cum Means Scholarship

• Candidates should be the domicile of West Bengal.
• Candidate must be studying in technical or professional courses such as law, medical, engineering, Management,CA etc.
• The student must be belong to the minority community of West Bengal.
• Also, candidate must secure at least 50% marks in their Higher Secondary or graduation examination.
• Their family income should not be less than 2.5 Lakh per annum.

WB Talent Support Stepend Programme

• For the West Bengal Talent Support Stipend Programme students must be domiciled in West Bengal and have secured less than 50% marks.
• The Talent Support Stipend Programme is applicable to minority students only (Christian, Sikh, Buddhist, Muslim, Jain, Parsee).
