JEE Main 2026 Registration

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the JEE Mains 2026 Registration on 31 October 2025. JEE Mains Application Form 2026 has released on 31 October 2025 to 27 November 2025 at jeemain.nta.nic.in. The student who is 12th pass and aiming for admission to prestigious Institutions like the IITs, NITs, CFTIs and other top engineering colleges in the country can apply for JEE Mains 2026. The JEE main 2026 will be held from 21 January to 30 January 2025.

JEE Mains 2026

The JEE Main is a national-level engineering entrance exam conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). JEE Main is a gateway for admission to undergraduate engineering programs (BTech/B.E) at the top institutions, including the National Institute of Technology (NITs), Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIITs), and other Central Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs). NTA conduct JEE Main twice a year, in January and April. JEE Main is one of the most competitive entrance exam in India every year more than 10 lakh students appear for JEE Mains out of which only 2.5 lakh candidates are selected for JEE advanced.

JEE Main 2026 Application Form

NTA has released the JEE Main 2026 registration date and JEE Main 2026 Application Form on 31 October 2025 on the official website of JEE Mains 2026. Students needs to fill the JEE Mains application form 2026 only through online mode. The JEE mains 2026 application form will be activated for one month till 27 November 2025. Candidate needs to fill out the application form, upload the documents and pay the application fees.

• Female unreserved/OBC/EWS category – INR 800
• SC/ST/PWD/Transgender category – INR 500

JEE Main 2026 Eligibilty Criteria

JEE Mains 2026 Age limit

There is no age limit to apply for JEE Mains 2026. Students who passed class 12 in 2024, 2025, or in 2026 are eligible to apply for JEE Main 2026 Registration.

Number of Attempts

Aspiring candidates who want to pursue engineering can take JEE Main exam up to 3 times in a row including exam schedule in January and April.

JEE Mains Education Qualification

• The student must be in final year of their 10 + 2 examination.
• Candidate who pass 10 + 2 examination administrated by National Institute of Open Schooling with at least five subjects are eligible for JEE Main 2026 Registration.
• Students holding 3 year diploma or also eligible for JEE Main 2026.

JEE Mains 2026 Exam Pattern

According to the new exam pattern of JEE mains exam the numerical value questions will not contain optional questions. Candidates needs to attempt 5 compulsory numerical questions in paper 1 (B.E./B /Tech), Paper 2 A (B Arch), and paper 2B (B planning).
