This Yojana aims to give employment and improve the skills of youth of Bihar. The Pragati Yojana Bihar will continue for 5 years and provide opportunity up to 1 lakh students.

• The registered youth will get 3 to 12-month internship.
• During the internship, youth will receive a monthly stipends of Rs 4000 to Rs 6000.
  • Rs 4000 per month for 12th pass
  • Rs 5000 per month for ITI/ diploma holders
  • Rs 6000 per month for graduates/postgraduates
• Additional allowances will be given to those interning away from their own state or district.
  • Rs 2000 per month extra is for interning outside of the home district (maximum 3 months).
  • Rs 5000 per month extra if interning outside Bihar (maximum 3 months).
