CSIR NET Eligibility Criteria 2026

CSIR NET Education Qualification

• Candidates who have a master’s degree or an equivalent qualification in a relevant science subject are eligible to apply for CSIR NET December 2026.
• The candidate who have specified 4 year Bachelors Degree program also be eligible.
• The applicants required at least 55% marks for the general/unreserved/EWS category and 55% mark for reserved category candidates.

Age Limit

The candidate must have a minimum of 30% marks for jrf as on 1 December 2026 with up to 5 years of relaxation for reserved category and women candidates. No upper age limit for assistant professor or PhD admission only.
