CUET Syllabus 2024
The common University entrance test (CUET) is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). It is a national examination conducted once in a year. According to the NTA notification, the CUET syllabus 2024 will be the same as the NCERT class 12 syllabus. Those candidates who are preparing for CUET 2024 must know the revised CUET syllabus to prepare for the CUET 2024. The CUET Exam syllabus is very important tool in preparation. The CUET 2024 syllabus helps to know the important topics for each section and subjects. In this blog, candidates will be no about the important topics, and CUET exam pattern 2024.
CUET 2024 Syllabus
As we all know the CUET 2024 exam date is declared, which will be conducted from 15 May to 30 May 2024. So all candidate needs the CUET syllabus 2024 to prepare for CUET 2024. The CUET entrance exam comprises of three sections i.e. Language, domain subject, and general test. Through the CUET 2024 candidates can get selected for admission in UG to 250+ Universities across the country.
The first section in CUET Syllabus 2024 is Section 1 A (language), which assesses the candidate’s language through reading comprehension, literacy aptitude, and vocabulary. The second section of CUET Syllabus 2024 is domain subject, it assess the candidate’s subject knowledge for the course the candidate wishes to apply for. The third section of CUET Syllabus 2024 is the General test it examines the candidates’ general knowledge, current affairs and logical and analytical reasoning. CUET Exam Pattern 2024
- Students can select a minimum of two subjects and a maximum of 6 subjects from all three sections combined. i.e. Two subjects from section 1A and 1B, 3 subjects from domain subject, and 1 paper of general test.
- In section IA there are total 13 languages in CUET
- In section IB a total of 20 languages is available.
- This is to inform you that a total of 27 domain subjects is available in CUET.
- For every correct answer 5 marks will be given
- And for every incorrect answer -1 marks will be deducted.

Detailed CUET Syllabus 2024
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially announced that the CUET 2024 syllabus will consist of the entire NCERT class 12 syllabus. There will be no significant changes are expected in CUET syllabus 2024. The syllabus is available in the PDF format for each section/subjects. CUET Syllabus 2024 for Language Test (Section IA & IB)
The CUET section IA and section IB are for language test. Section 1A includes a total of 13 languages whereas Section B includes a total of 20 languages. It examines students’ fluency in choice and language Through questions such as reading comprehension based on different types passages – (factual, literacy, poem and narratives), literacy aptitude, vocabulary, grammar, books and authors. The language test consists of 50 questions from both sections. Out of which candidate must answer 40 questions. The topics included inCUET language are as follow:

CUET Syllabus 2024 for Domain Subject (Section II)
The CUET syllabus 2024 for section II is based on Class 12 board exam syllabus of the subject. The domain-specific subject will be same as the NCERT syllabus for class 12 (whole). Candidate can prepare with the NCERT book for the domain paper. The CUET UG syllabus 2024 contain 27 domain subject. Candidate can choose the course of their choice. How many domains subjects can a student choose in CUET 2024?
Candidate can select a maximum of 6 subjects in that domain subject and minimum of three subject as desired by applicable University for CUET examination 2024.
How many subjects can a student select in CUET 2024?
According to CUET notification a candidate can select maximum of 10 subjects and minimum of two subjects as desired by applicable University for CUET 2024.
What is the duration of CUET examination?
The CUET exam will be conducted in 2 slot. The first slot consists of 3.25 Hours. While the second slot consists of 3.75 hours
