All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) has released the INI CET 2024 exam date for the July session on the official website. The INI CET exam will be conducted on 19 May 2024. AIMS has released the INI CET Application Form for AIIMS PG 2024 on 18 March 2024. The last date to apply for basic registration is 12 April 2024. The application process includes several steps like basic registration, confirming the status of basic registration, generation of EUC code and final registration.

It is a Computer-based test conducted for 3 hours. INI CET exam has a negative marking of 1/3 for each correct answer the application fee for INI CET for the general category is Rs. 4000 and for the Reserve category is Rs. 3,200.

What is INI CET?

The full form of INI CET is the Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test. INI CET is an entrance exam conducted by the All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS), New Delhi. The entrance exam is a gateway for admission to various postgraduate medical courses Doctor of Medicine (MD), Master of Surgery (MS), Master of Chirurgiae (M.CH-6 years), Doctorate of Medicine (DM-6 years), and Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) at the Institute of National Importance (INIs) across India. INI CET exam is conducted twice a year, January and July.

INI CET Score is valid for admission to 17 AIIMS institutes. Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research (JIMPER) Pondicherry, National Institute of Mental Health and Neuroscience (NIMHANAS) Bangalore, PGI Chandigarh, SCTIMST, Trivandrum among others. All these institutes take admission for PG through INI CET course, earlier the examination for these institutes used to be conducted separately.

INI CET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for INI CET 2024 is set by AIIMS. Candidates before applying to INI CET entrance exam must meet the eligibility criteria. Generally, the candidate must be an Indian national, Additionally, OCI/NRI and Foreign Nationals can apply. There is no age limit to apply for the INICET exam. AIIMS PG Education Qualification

Candidates should have MBBS/BDS degree from a recognised Institute and should complete a 12th-month internship before 31st January 2024. There is no age limit to apply for INI CET 2024.

AIIMS PG Minimum Qualifying Marks

Candidates belonging to General, OBC, GEN PWD must score 55%. Also, the candidate belongs to SC/ST/SC-PWD/ST-PWD 50%.
