SSC CPO Exam Pattern
The staff selection commission will release the SSC CPO Exam Pattern in the official notification. As per SSC, the selection process is divided into 4 stages. Paper 1, Physical Test, Paper 2 and Detailed Medical Examination. Out of these 4 stages, 2 will be written examinations i.e. Paper 1 and Paper 2. Candidates who are willing to appear for the SSC CPO exam must understand the SSC CPO exam pattern to excel in the examination.

There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks in both paper 1 and Paper 2. As per the SSC CPO exam pattern, Paper 1 comprises of 200 questions with 200 marks. Out of 200 questions in paper 1 each section is comprised of 50 marks. While in paper 2 conducted for 200 marks. Both paper 1 and Paper 2 are objective-type questions.
SSC CPO Exam Pattern 2024
SSC CPO exam pattern 2024 consists of (paper 1, Paper 2), PET/PST, and medical tests those candidates who qualify paper 1 have to undergo through physical Efficiency Test. Only then they can be able to eligible for paper 2. Paper 1 and paper 2 will be held online mode, while the physical Efficiency Test will be conducted in physical mode.
Applicants must clear all three phases of the SSC CPO 2024. After qualifying paper 2 to candidate have to clear the medical test to be selected for posts in Delhi Police, CAPFs, CISFs etc. Both 1st and 2nd phase consist of multiple-choice objective-type of questions.

SSC CPO Tier 1 Exam Pattern (Paper 1)
Based on the SSC CPO exam pattern, Paper 1 consists of 4 sections: General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Knowledge & General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension. It is a Computer Based MCQ exam for 2 hours. Each section will comprise 50 questions. There is a negative marking in SSC CPO Paper 1, for every incorrect 0.25 marks will be deducted. SSC CPO Tier 2 Exam Pattern (Paper 2)
The SSC CPO exam pattern for paper 2 consists of English language and comprehension. The paper 2 is online exam 200 with objective multiple choice questions. The time duration for SSC CPO Paper 2 is 2 hours or 120 minutes. The total number of question in SSC CPO paper 2 is 200 in paper to there is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.

SSC CPO Physical Standard Test (PST & PET)
Candidate who clear paper 1 of the SSC CPO exam needs to qualify SSC CPO physical standard test. In the physical standard test, the candidate will be examined for their height and chest. Physical Endurance Test (PET) (For all posts):

- 1.6 km race in 6.5 minutes
- Long Jump: 3.65 metres in 3 chances
- High Jump: 1.2 metres in 3 chances
- Shot put (16 Lbs): 4.5 metres in 3 chance
For female candidates:
- 100-metre race in 18 seconds
- 800-meter race in 4 minutes
- Long Jump: 2.7 metres in 3 chances
- High Jump: 0.9 metres in 3 chances.
SSC CPO Medical Criteria
The following are the criteria for the SSC CPO exam pattern for Medical Test:
- Minimum Near Vision: N6 (better eye) and N9 (worse eye)
- Minimum Distant Vision: 6/6 (better eye) and 6/9 (worse eye)
- Must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein, or squint in eyes
- Eye standards should be without any vision correction, including glasses.
