The SSC MTS eligibility criteria include three major criteria that a candidate is required to fulfil. The Eligibility criteria include Nationality, Age limit and Education qualification. Candidates are advised to meet the eligibility criteria to be selected for MTS and Havaldar post.

SSC MTS 2024 Paper -1 Exam Pattern
The revised SSC MTS exam pattern for paper 1 will be divided in 2 sessions: Session 1 and Session 2. The exam will be conducted through a computer-based test. Both sessions is compulsory to attempted. The session 1 will be conducted for 120 marks in 45 minutes. While session 2 will be conducted for 150 questions in 45 minutes. In MTS paper 1 there will be a negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer in session 2 and there will be no negative marks in Session 1.

SSC MTS Paper 1 Exam Pattern: Important Points
- As per the revised exam pattern the exam is conducted for a total of 270 marks.
- The paper 1 will be in objective type (multiple choice questions)
- The medium of question will be set in 13 regional languages for session 1: Hindi, English, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri (also Meitei or Meithei), Marathi, Odia (Oriya), Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
- There will be no negative marking in session 1.
- Session 2 is having negative marking for one marks for each bronze answers.
- The candidate who are visually handicapped Cerebral palsy is 45 minutes for each session.
