Applicant who completed their post graduation from UGC recognise colleges are eligible to apply for the post of a system professor in Indian universities and colleges. However there are certain exceptions for UGC NET Assistant professor.
- Those candidate who completed their PhD from UGC (minimum standard and procedure for award of M Phil/PhD degree) regulationS, 2009 are examted from the requirement of meeting the minimum UGC NET eligibility criteria.
