UGC NET Syllabus
The National Testing Agency (NTA) conduct UGC NET 2024 every year in June and December. Aspiring candidates preparing for the UGC NET Exam must know about the UGC NET Syllabus. The NET Syllabus plays a prominent role in boosting your preparation for the UGC NET 2024 exam. The NET UGC Syllabus consists of two papers: UGC NET Paper 1 Syllabus 2024 and UGC NET Paper 2 Syllabus 2024. UGC NET 2024 Syllabus and Pattern
NTA conducts the UGC NET 2024 in 83 subjects to determine the eligibility of Candidates to become “Assistant Professors” and “Junior Research Fellowship” (JRF). The UGC NET Paper 1 and Paper 2 syllabus is the initial stage of preparing for exam. To ensure the preparation candidate needs to families with the UGC NET Exam Pattern 2024. Both UGC NET Paper 1 and UGC NET Paper have multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and all questions are compulsory. All applicants should complete both papers in a single duration of 3 hours on exam day.
UGC NET Exam Pattern 2024
The UGC NET exam pattern 2024 consists of a total of 150 questions including both Paper 1 and Paper 2. The exam will be conducted through online mode (Computer Based test). The UGC NET Paper 1 is conducted to assess the candidate’s knowledge on teaching/ research aptitude. While UGC NET paper 2 to know candidate knowledge in domains subject.
- UGC NET paper 1 is of 100 marks while paper 2 is conducted for 200 marks.
