The NDA 2 2024 exam Notification for NDA 2 will be released soon on the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) official website. Candidates who qualified in class 12 are eligible to participate in the National Defence Academy (NDA) exam. Candidate must be aged between 16.5 years to 19.5 years. Earlier only male candidates where allowed to take the exam, however after the supreme court order in 2021 female candidates have also been made eligible to take the exam from 2022. Selected candidate in NDA can receive NDA salary from Rs. 55,100 to Rs. 2,50,00.

To be eligible for the NDA exam 2024 candidates must meet the eligibility criteria set by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). Candidate must be a citizen of India, aged between 16.5 years to 19.5 years and must be passed class 12th. Check can go through the detailed NDA eligibility criteria below.

Candidates must be one of the following:
– A citizen of India, or
– A subject of Nepal, or
– A subject of Bhutan, or
– A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam to permanently settle in India.
NDA Age Limit
As per the provision, only unmarried males/female candidates who range between 16.5 years to 19.5 years are eligible to apply for NDA 2 2024.
NDA Education Qualification 2024
For Army Wings of NDA: Applicants should be passed class 12 and equivalent exams from recognised boards or universities.
For Air Force and Navel Wings of NDA and for 10 + 2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy: the candidate must be twelfth class passed with physics, chemistry, and mathematics or equivalent from recognised board or university.
NDA Marital Status
Candidate must not be married until they complete their entire training. During the NDA application form 2024 filling both male and female candidate must not be married.
NDA Selection Process
The NDA selection process includes to main stages: Written exam and SSB interview. Candidate who qualified the written exam would be shortlisted for NDA SSB interview. The SSB Interview consist of personality test, physical test and medical examination.

NDA Exam Pattern 2024
The NDA exam pattern consist of written examination (objective type questions). The question paper contains two subjects: Mathematics and General Ability Test (GAT). The General Ability Test is for the sub-divided into two parts: English and General knowledge. The NDA exam is conducted for a total of 900 marks.
